Good Regardless

Tellaman Releases New Mixtape dubbed “Good Regardless”

The long-awaited, brand new mixtape from R&B/Hip-Hop star Tellaman has arrived.

Fresh, fun, and oh so sexy, the 8-track offering, Good Regardless sees Tellaman at his most conceptual, raw, lyrically honest and creative AF.

It’s not just ‘good regardless’, its good because it’s Tellaman – and the man puts the work in. Whether he’s on the road or in the studio, nothing but the best comes from this multi-platinum status artist. Alongside self-penned fresh inspiration, the Good Regardless mixtape boasts several hot features, including some of the biggest names in their chosen genres, his friends came through and delivered hard.

Good Regardless is a special kind of creation. Inspired by friends to create new music and recorded while on the road with peers and friends, it was birthed from a place of fun, love and special moments – and lyrically that comes through on the lighter, sexier moments which could only have come from personal experience.

The mixtape is filled with stand-out tracks. No Love is a Weeknd-tinged, melodic R&B, fast-flow track that speaks to the club mentality of hook ups that don’t lend themselves to true love. Hush, featuring crownedYung & Lastee, is another taste of the spicy side of Tellaman, with sensual lyrics married to a melodic and nostalgic edge that make all the potential of a chart-topper.

Long-time collaborator and friend Nasty C once again lends his flow on tracks such as Rollercoaster and the harder-hitting Conversation, a track that sees Tellaman pushing boundaries not only musically with an R&B side-step, but lyrically too as a hint of confrontation creeps into his verses. Not without its fair share of wisdom, Conversation is a mould broken for Tellaman, showing his seamless adaptability and versatility, and hopefully an additional direction to explore during his reign.

As we know, the female form in all its glory has long been esteemed by Tellaman, and Baby Girl featuring DJ KillaMo continues the celebration of the feminine with plenty of cheeky fun. Like A Drug featuring Ricky Tyler is probably as perfect as a dance track can get. With an eighties nostalgic synth under a driving anchor beat, this mid-tempo track is accompanied by some of the best vocals on the mixtape, creating what is a definite summer 2022 smash hit.

With all tracks penned by Tellaman himself, the mixtape features guest production from L.D Beats, Blasian Beats with executive production by Select Play.

Constantly evolving, exploring and growing, even when he’s just ‘having fun’ Tellaman proves that his take on new age RNB/Hip Hop/Soul is here for the long haul.

As hardworking as they come, Tellaman releases Good Regardless on the 11th of November. Just a taste while he works on his upcoming full-length release, he is also planning his touring schedule and hopefully, in the words of the artist himself, these songs will form part of his fans’ memories forever.
