It is official – the coming of the South African Hip Hop Museum!! In 2020 the South African Hip Hop Museum will be officially opened at the Museum Africa in Newtown. Ahead of that occurrence, coining the 5th of December a historic date in SA Hip Hop, Hennesy named the first 26 on their Wall of Fame.
Hennesy is partnering with a company of long-standing drivers of SA Hip Hop to bring the South African Hip Hop Museum. Their Wall of Fame pays tribute to South African Hip Hop royalty, those who have pushed the limits of their own potential to pioneer the culture to what it is today.
“This list of names represents the best of the best. It’s humbling to be among such company, and I’d like to thank Hennessy for the honor. Founding the South African Hip Hop Museum has been an exciting venture and it’s been a pleasure partnering with Hennessy on the journey.” Osmic Menoe – SA Hip Hop Awards and Back to The City founder.
