Remy Martin’s, Remy Producers competition has officially arrived in South Africa. The initiative setting out to discover and lift producers will see aspiring producers competing to get a Riky Rick co-sign. Introducing the first season on his socials is Riky Rick himself, inviting producers to send through their beats and stand a chance to be credited the “super producer“.
To win, producers must submit their best beat, showcase their skills to a panel of respected judges, and survive a series of elimination rounds. Only one producer will receive the coveted co-sign that could change everything.
Riky Rick, real name Rikhado Makhado was born in KwaMashu, a township north of Durban. He released his debut album platinum-certified album Family Values in 2015. In 2016 he merged fashion and music further with the release of his 2017 award-winning hit single, Sidlukotini. Riky Rick is a judge on one of the SA’s most viewed TV shows, The Voice.
Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is a premium cognac from the House of Rémy Martin. Just 14 years after Rémy Martin started producing cognacs, the king endorsed the brand, granting it a royal recognition of excellence for the development of Rémy Martin vineyards, despite a nationwide ban on planting new vines. This acknowledgement and the quality of its cognac has become the legacy of Rémy Martin.
Enter the competition. All the best.
