Johannesburg South’s multi-faceted Hip-hop artist Nele has released a new single dubbed Hot Shot. The creatives latest release, a high tempo track seeping with defiance, is issued accompanied by a Kid Kadi directed music video. Hot Shot is an eruption of carefully curated rhymes directed to a series of tweets that dared to undermine the lyrical talent of South
side rappers.
Kid Kadi describes the direction of the music video as, “a fast passed, gritty visual rendition of the challenges Nele has to go through as he aims at taking the ‘hotshot’ position in the industry”. Nele, also stylized as Nele Worldwide is a 23 year old South African musician and producer
from Johannesburg South. The creative credits Kanye West as his muse because of his ability to break boundaries and pioneer new music.
Hot Shot follows Nele’s successful release of his first three singles; Groove, TOR, Columbine Drive. The creative is currently working on his forthcoming LP, Exile. Check out the new Hot Shot single below and be sure to share your thoughts.
