Vodacom’s new digital music service, ‘My Muze’ has joined forces with TurnUp Music as the official service partner in helping local, independent artists to submit their music for digital distribution.
Creatives in South Africa have for a long time, voiced the need to find a platform that authentically expresses their cultural narratives. With this in mind, we are delighted to announce the partnership between TurnUp Music and My Muze. Together, the new collective will bring hot new rising stars as well as the big guns of the game to one platform and fully support the development and promotion of South African talent.
At the 25th instalment of the South African Music Awards held at Sun City, North West on the 1st of June 2019, My Muze announced the launch of a talent search brought in partnership with TurnUp Music. This will see one lucky, talented musician being recognised and rewarded for his/her great work through winning a star-studded package worth R500k.
The package comprises of R250K in cash, a professionally produced track, a collaboration with an A list artist, a music video, exclusive access to industry mentors and 12 months with a team of professionals that will have the artist’s back.
