The Los Angeles Police Department Homicide division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in the shooting and death of rapper Nipsey Hussle. Detectives have worked tirelessly since the incident and have identified the suspect to be 29-year-old Eric Holder from LA.
On March 31, 2019 around 3:20 p.m, the suspect walked up to three male adults who were standing outside the Marathon Clothing Shop. The suspect fired numerous shots at them, struck the victims and ran through an alley to a waiting vehicle.
The suspected entered the passenger’s side of the vehicle which was driven by an unidentified female. The vehicle is a 2016, white – four-door Chevy Cruze, with a California license plate 7RJD742.
One of the victim identified to be rapper and found of the Marathon Clothing Store, Nipsey Hussle, died of the gunshot wounds sustained, and two other victims where transported to a hospital.

Nipsey Hussle was set to meet with the LAPD on the day of the shooting, to work on stopping gang violence.
