Johannesburg, South Africa – Thursday, 24 February 2022: SKHANDAWORLD’s first signed artist Loki has had a busy year already. The leader in the young crop of popular Kasi-rap has already featured on Airdee’s Mahala, Touchline’s Soon 2 and most recently showcased his versatility by featuring on DJ Lag’s Shululu.
Marking his first leading release of the year, the Qoloqolo rapper revisits his SKHANDAWORLD’s Welcome To The Planet lead single, Shoda Ngami, featuring Blxckie. The bass-heavy, chorus driven love-ballad-meets-club banger was made with the month of love in mind, and the music video gives just that exact mood.
Directed by returning SKHANDAWORLD music video director, Kuda Jemba, the Shoda Ngami music video borrows inspiration from the lyrical content and takes an artistic take with the visuals.
An All-White Party, Loki sitting at the head of the table, and in walks the woman of his dreams. Loki sings the song to his love interest, who even denies cameo-appearing DJ Mr X.

About Shoda Ngami
With the other one being dubbed as Loki loko Tom Cruise wase kasi and the other one Somnyama Omnyama in the streets, these two Durban natives come along together in almost a bravado of a song called ‘Shoda Ngami’.
The lyrics of the song are delivered in a Durban street lingo that the pair is so synonymously known for, where they make a reference that without either of the two something is bound to be missing — More specifically to the lady of interest that both acts are rapping about in their individual verses.
‘Shoda Ngami‘ is the second single led by Loki taken from the SKHANDAWORLD’s ‘Welcome To The Planet‘ album, and his first official single of the year, 2022.
