Floric Entertainment record producer Santu Blanko has officially arrived with his second EP dubbed Dream Drum Uno. The producer dropped the compilation’s first single, What I Like on the 26th of April, enlisting Flayser, The PersN & Richie Challow. Dream Drum Uno comes as a follow up to the creatives January EP dubbed Shot In One Day.
Now Santu Blanko has officially released Dream Drum Uno EP in selected major stores. Previously issued for pre-listening on Soundcloud and Audiomack on the 10th of May, the EP packs 7 tracks with a play-time of just below 20 minutes. The record producers used this project to exhibit 10 artists who are still fresh on the entertainment scene. Including those on What I Like, Santu Blanko also brings Attwell, Mzakes Mane, Crooks, Magnido Charles, Freezy, TheKidNxxtDxxr & The Slayer.
Speaking to DopeOffthePress, Santu Blanko shares with us that Dream Drum Uno is in actual fact a dream come true. “I often have spiritual dreams in which I see myself himself playing tribal/religious drums” hence the title Dream Drum Uno. Uno is Spanish/Italian for one. Interpreting his dreams, Santu Blanko is sure that these dreams mean that he is “creative and currently focused on the right thing” with his life.
Listening to Dream Drum Uno is surely an experience. From the production, Santu Blanko did not go for the Hip Hop elements the mainstream followers is acquainted with. The instrumentals, distinguishing this from the bulk, carry a heavy tribal flavour. On the other hand, the chosen collaborators give the project an edge with some rare flow, making the EP a work of art.
