South African recording artist and record producer, 2LA is back with brand new music. Yesterday the Floric Entertainment creative released his latest craft – a single dubbed Pole Dance. On Pole dance, 2LA enlists Zimbabwean record producer, itsBryne on the instrumental and self-masters his vocals.
While Pole Dance is a very hyped and “dirty” song with explicit references, 2LA tells DopeOffthePress that there is more to the song. Instead of making his new song celebrate females/ males who date for money, the creative is rather standing for true, non-material love. “…the song had to sound good that you can jam it in the club – where most who date for money enjoy hanging out – and where most of my new music will be actually heading. Maybe they will hear the message while buzzed, may the song will bring more to believing in love“, 2LA told us.
In 2019, Pole Dance was supposed to be the creatives fourth single. 2LA released 3 singles, namely; On Top, Living and Personal while campaigning to release his second EP, College Affair. However, on the release date, the creative pulled back the release. In the following weeks, 2LA also took down all his prior released music.
Concerning these recent moves, 2LA tells us that, “…together with the team we have learned a lot since we kicked it off in 2017. There are certain moves we now know to make to ensure our music is received and appreciated. And because we initially didn’t hit it, we will relaunch some of those songs that the fans loved, and this time we ensure the masses get it“.
