Coming off releasing his Famous remix featuring Reason, Dibi is back with another heater. This time around the rapper issues Kissing My Shoe, a one minute and fifty eight second joint that finds him ironing out some things for both the fans and fellow “best rapper” contenders. Enlisting Yung Lando on production, Dibi’s raps are dexterously laced on a rather elementary, but menacing instrumental.
The self-acclaimed Captain of the Eastern Cape surely deserves a mention when speaking of the rappers leading the evolution of Hip Hop in South Africa. Among-st a lot, on Kissing My Shoe Dibi cautions his fans against pegging him next to rappers that are not on his level rapping, “and all the people love me cause they know I am doper. Just don’t put me next to so and so, because they are werk. And we all know it that’s a fact“.
