It’s a soulful treat as Ayanda Jiya unveils her long-awaited debut album. Last week Friday, on the National Women’s Day, the songstress unveiled Ayandastand, an eleven-track album. Ayandastand enlists guest appearances from Ziyon, A Reece, Naomi Parchment, and yet another non-expected Stogie T verse on Lover For Life. The album is delivered by Ayandastand Music in partnership with Zephbeats Studios.
Kicking off the project is Ayandastand, the introduction and title track to the album. Not much of a song, the introduction is a collection of shout outs from Ayanda Jiya’s industry peers. Wishing her the best with her new album, we hear the voices of Zakwe, Proverb, Ginger Trill and more. Ayandastand includes two previously released songs, the lead single Falling For You featuring A Reece and the most recent, The Sun.
Ayandastand comes as a follow up to Ayanda Jiya’s second EP, To Whom It May Concern, released back in 2017.
